The walk: A five day/five-night guided walking holiday along the Scottish long-distance circular walking route, The Cateran Trail.
Distance: 64miles/103km.
Start/finish: Blairgowrie, Perthshire.
Grade 2/3: Most days are Grade 2 with a couple of more strenuous Grade 3 days.
Accommodation: Good quality and highly recommended B&B and country hotels, usually with en-suite facilities.
The Cateran Trail offers walkers the chance to experience authentic Scotland and explore an unspoilt part of the Scottish Highlands. The route passes through atmospheric glens, farmland, forests and stunning mountainscapes, following in the footsteps of the ancient 'Caterans', the cattles thieves who raided the area during the 15th to 17th centuries.

Day 2: Kirkmichael to Spittal of Glenshee, 8 miles/13km
Day 3: Spittal of Glenshee to Kirkton of Glenisla, 14 miles/23km
Day 4: Kirkton of Glenisla to Alyth, 11 miles/17km
Day 5: Alyth to Blairgowrie, 16 miles/26km

This is per person and includes:
- 5 nights Bed and Breakfast accommodation in quality hand- picked hotel or guesthouse, based on two people sharing a room usually with an ensuite. Single travellers are welcome and will be accommodated in a twin room (2 single beds). If a single room is requested at time of booking then this incurs an extra charge of £50 for the 5 nights
