TRAVELLING TO DUNDEE, SCOTLAND

From London and the South of England

Train -there is a regular East Coast Train Service from London and other main stations in England passing north through Edinburgh, Dundee and on to Aberdeen. The overnight sleeper train from London also stops in Dundee

From Edinburgh or Glasgow

Train - travel time from Edinburgh, Waverly Station to Dundee, is approximately 1 hour and from Glasgow, Queen St, 1.5 hours. Great discounts can be enjoyed by purchasing tickets in advance.

From Europe

TRAIN - You can travel by Eurostar from Paris or Brussels to London (www.eurostar.com) then continue the journey north by sleeper train (www.scotrail.co.uk)

FLIGHTS - Scottish airports are all accessible with good motorway and bus services linking our major cities. Glasgow , Edinburgh and Aberdeen airports are within reach of our mountain destinations.

Many airlines now operate daily scheduled flights from many European cities. e.g.

Germany :  Easyjet operate a number of daily flights to Scotland. You can fly direct to Edinburgh from both Cologne and Munich and direct to Glasgow from Berlin. Other operators such as KLM  operate flights from Edinburgh to Frankfurt and Ryanair run scheduled flights to Edinburgh from both Dusseldorf and Frankfurt.

Holland : KLM operate direct flights from Amsterdam to Aberdeen, Glasgow and Edinburgh. Easyjet run an Edinburgh to Amsterdam service

France : Easyjet run a Paris and Nice service direct to Edinburgh and also a Paris to Glasgow flight. Ryanair operate Paris to both Glasgow and Edinburgh. Air France and Flybe operate regular flights to Scottish Airports including Aberdeen

From Canada and the US

There are many airlines which fly direct to Glasgow from Canada and the US and there are direct flights to Edinburgh from Newark, New Jersey.
Visitors can reach Dundee by train from Glasgow as detailed above.
