The walking: A guided two-day *Munro Bagger's walking break in the stunning Cairngorms National Park and Angus Glens. This is your chance to go 'munro bagging in Scotland'! Enjoy walking in the Cairngorms National Park under the safe guidance of an experienced mountain leader, with lovely accommodation to relax in at night. Whether it's your first or 100th Munro you'll be delighted by our chosen Munros, which offer splendid isolation and panoramic vistas.

Length: 2 days/3 nights.
Grade 4: Walkers should be fit and prepared for some strenuous hiking.
(Minimum number of four walkers)

Munro Baggers' Break itinerary

Day 1: Evening arrival and welcome in Bridge of Cally, near Blairgowrie. Pick up from Dundee can be arranged (see Getting Here).

Day 2: Walk to the summits of Munros Glas Tulaichean and Carn an Righ.

Day 3: Walk to the summit of Schiehallion.

Day 4: Return home.

Prices and dates:

Price: £295 This is per person and includes:
  • 3 nights Bed and Breakfast in a beautiful country hotel, based on two people sharing a room usually with an ensuite. Single travellers are welcome and will be accommodated in a twin room (2 single beds) with a fellow traveller of the same sex. If a single room is requested at time of booking then this incurs an extra charge of £20 for the 2 nights.
  • Packed lunches.
  • Guiding by a qualified mountain leader.

* A Munro is a Scottish hill with a summit of more than 3000ft/914m. There are 14 Munros in the Angus Glens, many of which are claimed as some of the easiest of all the 283 Munros. Indeed, it was local walker Sir Hugh Munro, of Lindertis, near Kirriemuir, who first documented the Munros list.
